How did it get to be March??

Hi friends,

Those of you who know my daughter might know that she is a freak about holidays.  They are a HUGE deal to her. The sense of expectation is overwhelming!! She tells me about what kind of party we are going to have, who is invited, the crazy plans she has in mind which would take an incredible amount of time...you get the idea.  So, after I just threw a St. Pat's party for her complete with crafts, scavenger hunt, hand dipped chocolate coins and other homemade goodies, the next day she is talking about Easter, which is in fact right around the corner.  Oy vey.  I need a break from all this party planning to make some jewelry!

Some friends recently requested pieces and I thought I would share.  There seems to be a red, silver and black theme...I didn't even realize it until I looked at all the pictures.

One item is a new venture for me, which combines my old love of stained glass making with my current love of jewelry making.  I had to dust of my old equipment and try to remember the basics of soldering!  But I am excited to delve into a fun and different area.

Happy hump day!

Sarah

Getting the most bang for your buck....convertible jewelry

Hi,

Things are going well at Wire Harmony.  I am just getting very little sleep these days. :)
But, it's all good!  Stephanie, the new owner of the Blue Mug coffee shop in Escondido, has agreed to take a display from me.  I am working on setting it up, and will let you know when it's out.  It's a really cool, cute mom and pop coffee shop, check it out!  Super tasty coffee too. My fave, Mexican Mocha...

I am also hot on the trail of getting into a regular Farmer's Market...but I don't want to jinx it so I will keep the details mum for now.  Fingers crossed.

So, I can't take credit for this idea, but it is a great one.  You know when a certain necklace would look good both short and long?  And even better, when it's fun to have a complimentary necklace and bracelet?  Well, you can have all of it with convertible jewelry.  Basically, you have a long necklace that has "S" links which can detach and turn your long necklace into a short one and a bracelet!  Genius, no?  I love it.  It appeals to my thrifty nature.

Here are two that I have recently finished.  I hope you like them as much as I do.  Have a great week and enjoy our summer like SD weather.  (That is, if you live here. If not, sorry.)

Peace,
Sarah
